Success Companion privacy policy
This page explains how the app handles notes, folders, voice recordings, reminders, AI features, and Yoota app integration.
Introduction
Success Companion helps you save ideas, organize notes, manage daily work, create plans, posts, and actions, and use an optional intelligent companion while keeping core control in your hands.
AI features
The app may provide optional AI features such as writing help, chat, or idea organization. These features only run when you choose to configure an AI provider and start a request from inside the app.
When you use AI, the text you choose and the request context needed to process it may be sent to the AI provider you selected. This context may include a limited in-app summary, such as today status, some folder names, titles or tags from recent notes, content items, plans, posts, actions, platforms, or YootaPlay integration status when useful for the request. That provider is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
The companion may help you create posts, plans, actions, or drafts inside the app. Generated content is not final or guaranteed to be accurate, and you should review it before using, publishing, or relying on it.
- Your entire notes library is not automatically sent to any AI provider
- The app uses limited summaries and context instead of sending the full library
- Requests start from a clear action inside the app
- AI outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before relying on them
AI provider keys
The app currently uses a model where you control your own AI provider keys. When you add a key inside the app, it is stored locally on your device using available Android protection mechanisms, and we do not require you to create an account with us just to use that key.
We do not sell your keys, use them for other accounts, or upload them to our servers in the current local-first release. You remain responsible for managing the key, deleting it, and revoking it from the provider dashboard when needed.
Notes and folders
The app stores note titles, note text, folders, and states such as pinned, favorite, and trash locally on your device. We do not sell your note content or use it for advertising.
AI chats, memory, and usage
The app may locally store AI chats, helper memory, approximate usage records, and response reports so it can improve the on-device experience and show previous context when you choose to use it.
You can delete AI data from inside the app, including saved provider keys, chats, memory, local usage records, and local reports.
Work, plans, posts, and actions
The app may locally store work organization data such as content plans, days, posts, actions, statuses, and platforms or channels you add. This data is used to show today’s screen, organize plans by day, and help you follow what needs to be done inside the app.
The current release does not publish content externally by itself. Any future external integration or publishing flow will require clear setup and explicit approval according to the relevant platform policies.
Voice notes and microphone
The app uses the microphone only when you start recording a voice note. Recordings are stored locally on your device, and the app does not record in the background without a clear action from you.
Privacy lock and screen protection
The app may provide an optional privacy lock. When enabled, the app attempts to protect notes screens from screenshots and from exposing sensitive content in recent-app previews, within what Android allows.
Yoota Recall and reminders
Yoota Recall appears as a floating reminder for notes you choose or pin, depending on your settings. You can set the interval, turn the feature off, and control how it appears. It may need notification and overlay permissions when enabled.
This feature does not record the screen or read content from other apps. Its purpose is to show the reminder you selected above other apps, according to system permissions.
Work alerts
The app may provide optional work alerts such as a today summary, a nearby post reminder, an overdue task, or a plan that needs follow-up. These alerts only run when you enable them, and you can turn them off at any time from app settings or system settings.
The app uses a background work system suitable for quiet reminders and does not use exact alarm permissions for this type of alert. Work alerts may therefore not arrive at the exact minute and second, which is intentional to keep the experience quiet and store-friendly.
Backup and import
You can create an encrypted local backup in a file you choose. The file and password remain under your control, and we do not upload the backup to our servers.
Yoota app integration
The app can integrate locally with trusted Yoota apps only when you enable that in settings. When read access is allowed, trusted apps such as YootaPlay may read the note data needed for integration, such as title, text, tags, and video links, so they can show notes in the feed, open them, or create new notes across apps without sending your data online because of the integration itself.
You can control read, save, and open access separately from privacy settings. If integration is off or the required permission is not granted, other apps cannot read your notes or save new notes into Success Companion.
Reporting AI content
The app provides an action to report an AI response that may be harmful, misleading, abusive, or inappropriate. When you report, the app records the report locally on your device, then opens a prepared email that you can review before sending.
Reports are not sent automatically in the background. You decide whether to send the email and what information to keep or remove from the message.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your data or share your note content with third parties. Sharing, exporting, or moving content to another app happens only when you choose it on your device.
Children
Success Companion is not directed to children. If a child uses it with guardian supervision, data stays local on the device and remains under the control of the user or guardian.
Deletion and control
You can delete notes or restore them from trash when available. You can also delete AI data from inside the app, or clear app data from Android settings, which may remove local notes and settings.
Updates and contact
We may update this page when app features or data practices change. For privacy questions, contact us at yootastudio@gmail.com.
